WHY ANOTHER YOGA BRAND?

We believe communities can use their resources: people, land, ingenuity, and even waste to help each other and the earth. We have become more aware of how we are all connected and share responsibility for the earth and its inhabitants recently. Many have used a mask or a sign to exemplify their support for each other.

We pray some good comes of these difficult times. Compassion is key. 

At Yoga Toga we recognize the importance of self care and caring for the environment since we are dependent on it for our health. YT wishes to enable people to make informed choices about fabric and clothing as we educate some about fashion’s environmental and social impact. Together small things add up. 

Customers deserve options. We support new technology, new standards and renewed values, where everyone and the environment are valued in honest and meaningful ways. We can develop businesses so people can buy more responsibly.

Plant fiber based products like viscose, bamboo and rayon look and sound nice but chemicals tossed break their fibers down are often disposed of in local water systems. Few see the consequences of "fast fashion" and cheap clothing brands that exploit garment workers and the ecosystem. 

Could we pay more for a few items that last for years instead of many items we can only wear a few times before they pill or tear. In 1970, 95% of our clothing was made in the USA. America needs jobs and today that number is 2%.
